ROBERT HUGHES - ACTOR

Bob Hughes began his acting career in 1960 with Jason Miller, acting in Miller's plays. He played Sal Fione in The Winner, a miner in Nobody Hears a Broken Drum, and George Sitkowski in a production of That Championship Season directed by Miller himself. 

Hughes and Miller were lifelong friends, attending St Pat's grade school and the University of Scranton together.

Other roles include Arnie in Thousand Clowns, a salesman in True West, Bernie in Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Joe Keller in All My Sons, H. Bogart in Petrified Forest, John Whitfield in Night of January 10th, Mike Francisco in Breaking Legs, Mr. Webb in Our Town, and Dr. Lyman in Bus Stop.

He has made two films, BrainTwister and most recently the short Charlie Chaplin's Body, which was featured at last years Cannes Film Festival.
